Gifts of the Holy Spirit are Real!
“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of working, but it is the same God who inspires them all in every one. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. To one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All these are inspired by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.” (1 Corinthians 12:4–11).
Since God’s love is infinite, we can grow in the gifts we have and acquire new gifts. We need to be open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. “...And hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” (Romans 5:5).

Deacon Steve Greco Biography
Deacon Steve was ordained in the Diocese of Orange in May 2007 as a permanent deacon in the Catholic Church. He is assigned to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton parish in Irvine.
Steve has been a health care executive for over 35 years, holding positions as Senior Vice President Sales, Bristol Myers-Squibb, President of Publicis Selling Solutions and Vice President of Sales for Depomed, Inc. He recently has retired and is now in full time ministry.
Steve is on the boards of Southern California Renewal Communities, Loyola Institute of Spirituality and the Orange Diocese Deaconate Formation and Spirit Filled Hearts Ministry.
Deacon Steve gives talks and healing services throughout California and the United States in many parishes and for Catholic conferences and radio. He currently is host of a weekly radio show, “Empowered by the Spirit” heard on Immaculate Heart Radio at 8 am on Sunday on 1000 am and 2 pm on 930 am, and on ESNE Catholic Radio 1670 AM at 7 pm on Sunday.
Deacon Steve has a ministry of Evangelization and healing called “Spirit Filled Hearts.” His website is spiritfilledhearts.org.
He has published a daily meditational book, 365 Days of Praise, and in Spanish, 365 Diaz de Alabanza available on Amazon.
Recently, a new book was released by Deacon Steve, “Reflections on the Holy Spirit,” focusing on the Fruit of the Spirit, also available on Amazon.
He is married to Mary Anne Greco for 44 years and they have three children and four grandchildren.
